The Five Star Restoration Grant Program, an initiative of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, supports community-based wetland, riparian, and coastal habitat restoration projects throughout the United States.

Wetland Restoration Projects Funded - Feb. 15

Develop community capacity to sustain local natural resources for future generations by supporting wetland, riparian, and coastal habitat restoration projects. Grants ranging from $10,000 to $40,000.

Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grants - Feb. 17

The Lowe's Toolbox for Education offers grants to schools and parent/teacher groups across the United States.  School projects should encourage parent involvement and build stronger community ties. 

USGS/NIWR National Competitive Grants Program RFP - Feb. 23

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) request proposals for matching grants to support research on the topics of water supply and water availability.

Bicycle Advocacy and Facilities Supported – Feb. 29

Support for projects that leverage federal funding and build momentum for bicycling in communities across the U.S. Funded projects can include bike paths and rail trails, as well as bike parks, mountain bike trails, BMX facilities, and bicycle advocacy.
