Event Information
Reception
Join conservationists, sponsors, awardees, and honored guests for a reception featuring delicious food and refreshments. The reception is the perfect opportunity to mingle with conservationists from around the state, while providing additional support to Virginia Conservation Network. Attend by purchasing a sponsorship ticket for $100 which includes a ticket to the reception, performance, and program acknowledgement.
Performance
The Capitol Steps were founded in December 1981 by three Congressional staffers. Since then the troupe has grown and continues to dig into the headlines of the day; creating songs, parodies, and skits conveyed with a special brand of satirical humor. Over the past twenty-five years the Capitol Steps have recorded numerous albums and appeared on countless nationally broadcasted shows.
