Fahrenthold's May 7 Metro article "Dominion Pursues 18 Percent Rate Hike" glossed over what I think is the most important aspect of why Dominion Virginia Power wants to increase its rates again: The utility is sinking its money into fossil fuels at a time when the costs of coal and natural gas are rising rapidly." 

KAINE PLANS TO FIX ROADS

VCN is the National Wildlife Federation's Commonwealth of Virginia affiliate.   The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is a national organization which tackles conservation issues of global, national, and regional scale.

NWF boasts 30,000 members in Virginia alone! Support from NWF's team of skilled researchers will be instrumental in VCN's conservation efforts, and offers Virginia citizens an avenue for acting on federal level policies that impact the land we love.
