What Is Lobby Day?
First, Join other citizens from across the Commonwealth to learn about most pressing state legislation that will affect Virginia's natural resources and the communities we live in.
Then, go visit your legislator at the General Assembly Building to share your thoughts about these issues. A PERSONAL VISIT TO YOUR LEGISLATOR IS ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS CITIZENS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND PROTECT THE RESOURCES WE ALL LOVE.
How Do I Visit My Legislator?
In order for you to see your Delegate and Senator we
need you to schedule an appointment in advance. This
year we will be working through legislative contact
teams to set up meetings with legislators. The lead
legislative contact member should call to schedule the
appointment.
IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGISLATIVE CONTACT TEAM MEMBER, BUT WOULD LIKE TO VISIT YOUR LEGISLATOR WITH OTHERS FROM YOUR DISTRICT, PLEASE CALL THE VCN OFFICE AT 804-644-0283.
Please contact Missy Neff at 804-225-1902
or mneff@valcv.org or Carey Whitehead at: 804-644-0283 or vcngeneral@aol.com if you have questions.
